It is indeed Legal up there =] Every Cop I have seen with it on complimented me for the smart idea - Agree it is Exposed up there - But if there's a thin steel sheet behind it - aint no branch gonna break that ;)

That's a good idea, I had a stick on one when I had my second disco until I fitted roof lights then put the plate on the bonnet, I had mixed views from the police when I had it on the roof but they all let it go, I think technically it has to be at the front of the vehicle

I'm gonna cut my l200 one down and fit it above the fairlead once winch is fitted

I'm also gonna make a roof bar for 4x spots like the landies when I get time at work. Once I've done one for mine and if it goes to plan I might make more if people are interested

Will do mine like this I think...

This place makes all the difference to be fair, nice to have a good bunch of people on a forum that all get along

Had a Mondeo st220, owed me around £8000, insane spec. Shame you never get back what it cost to build mind was collected yesterday by a very happy new owner. 4th track/race car I've had and lost loads of money on so no more now, sticking to the off-roading scene lol

Think I'm done with tuning etc, one before the st220 was a focus rs mk1 which was a nightmare, everything possible went wrong with that, spent over 3k on the engine alone then lost all my money when I sold it, That's why I got to keep the l200 no matter what lol, it's also a licence keeper for me, the l200 chills me out, just sit back and relax on my daily commute
