It'll be worth it in the end bud dont suppose you happened to measure the bolts when you did the cab lift ? or have you still got the old ones to measure

Didn't measure them but do still have the old bolts so will give em a measure

Here's a pic of the bolt measured. I reckon it's about 10cm long (not including the head)

Tub ones are shorter and are captive bolts which is good. Cab are just nut and bolt I used a breaker bar on one end to wedge against something in the cab and a ratchet+deep socket+extension on the bottom.

So it appears I just bought this!

Now on to the next two things....

How to get it from Dover to Scotland! I'm on holiday at the end of the week so a mad driving adventure is possible but would rather not...
How to get it to fit with 2 inch body lift. I know some people have already so would be interested to find out how they have managed.

Rob, I seen one that was extended for a body lift and it simply consisted of a bit of heavy angle steel welded to the ARB bracket.

Would just be a case of bolting the bits of angle on to the chassis and getting the bumper into position, tacking it take it off and weld it up in a clydebuilt fashion, much the way I did with mine

If anyone is making that trip that would be ideal! Failing that I think I'll try see if itll go in the back of my mums focus as that'll be substantially cheaper to run than the truck!

Hehe, have been after a winch bumper for ages and was looking at getting the tools to build one but this will work out cheaper/easier

Steve WSO is probably the best to ask, he obviously moves heavily items regularly and will no doubt be able to steer you onto a good courier

Bumper has arrived in portobello! I'm just about to head back from my hols so should be able to investigate fitting this week A friend of mine should be able to get me some metal. I was thinking about getting 4mm thick 40x40 box and welding some 4mm angle into it and then bolt up to that. My mate reckons that 6mm angle will do the job... Will need to have a look/think when I get home.

Anyone have any idea of the bolt size I'll need? A friend of mine is getting me some 12.9 Allen headed cap bolts. He can get pretty much any length so just need to work out how long....
