Morning guys, the 2.5 engine in my k74 has dropped a big end shell.
I was going to pull the engine out and fit another crank and conrod but then a guy down the road has offered me an entire delica with the 2.8 engine and autobox in it for £500
The delica is rotten so only good as a donor but what I would like to know is has anyone here done said conversion and if so how easy/difficult was it?

I might be totally wrong but I kinda have half a recollection of the sump being the wrong way round??.
Like I say though don't treat that has useful information.

I've managed to source an unfinished project l200 with a fully rebuilt engine just down the road from me so I'm collecting it tomorrow.
