After stripping down the 2006 trojan to the cam belt, in prep for replacing the fuel pump after code 18 appeared, i got hold of the workshop manual, and saw how to test the pump speed sensor, open circuit so just replaced the sensor, not the full pump. Quick test start to see if that fixed the code, and the crank pickup ring mashed the crank sensor. So copy part crank sensor, rebuild, but now all rebuilt, I'm getting fault code 11 - Accelerator position sensor (main). This fault wasn't present previous to my rookie mistake, so leads me to think its either something i've done rebuilding the front back up, or linked to the pick up plate smashing the crank sensor
Can anyone point me in a direction to start looking. Ive pulled the ecu out, and no sign of any obvious damage. As it now, car will start but wont rev and kicks out smoke if I try and rev
Any help appreciated
