Hi guys, so a while back I disconnected the ECU to fit an original Mitsubishi performance chip, stupidly I forgot to disconnect the battery and as soon as I turned the truck on the SRS light came on and stayed on.
I’ve had the steering wheel off to check the clock spring and that’s all fine.
I’ve checked every fuse I can find on the truck and they are all good.
I’ve disconnected the battery for ages then let the engine warm up and idle for 15minutes, but no joy.
I can’t find any plugs under either seat for airbag sensors so I assume this truck doesn’t have them.
Annoyingly my code reader gets power when I plug it in but throws an error saying it can’t connect. Could that be related to the light being on?
Any advice would be greatly welcomed as the truck is now due its MOT!
