IOT keep it simple, here it is simply;
2014 L200. Head gasket gone so had head skimmed. Head reattached but developed a knock. 2 weeks later a valve head snaps and lodges into the piston. Valve rod still locked in position.
Under what circumstances would this happen and is it possible to be as a result of overheating compromising the valve?
