I lifted mine an inch and a half, you could probably go up to two inches some have lifted more but I've heard going too much can cause damage to the CV joints and you could throw the camber way out and start scrubbing tyres

if you go too far the ride gets real bouncy, leave at least 5mm between the bump stops

I overdid it when I first raised my t bars. Ride was really bouncy and inner cv boots tore up. Easy enough to sort eventually.

I aimed for around 50mm when I did mine to match rear springs. Wound down about 10 mm and much better.

I went for about an inch and a bit tried the 2" to fit some bigger tyres but made me seasick also you reduce the ground clearance on the back as with 2" without lifting any thing else the truck becomes nose up. Also as mentioned you light the tops of trees up beautifully. Without any other mods just lift it till it sits level. Measure centre of wheel to bottom of wheel arch make sure both sides the same then drive it about on some rough ground and remeasure and adjust accordingly.
