It's time folks

I've had the truck for two and a half years and it's been great, It's never been worked, everything works as it should, and it's a clean and tidy motor for its age and it's never gave me any grief, but it's time for it to move on to make way for my new toy

I'm happy to answer any questions regarding the vehicle but please do not spam the thread

2003 MITSUBISHI L200 WARRIOR IN Silver

82k Dealer history till I got it at 67k since that time it's been serviced at
67k oil and fuel filters, greased
70k oil and fuel filters, greased
75k Timing belt (gates) oil and fuel filters, greased, both diffs, gearbox and Transfer box oils changed
80k oil and fuel filters, greased, antifreeze and brake fluid changed

MOT till June 2014 ( 1 advise for the last MOT rear brake pipe lightly corroded, I renewed all of them)

Taxed till 31/12/2013

Exterior
ARB winch bumper
13000 lbs electric winch with wired and wireless remote (only used twice)
Asfir alloy engine sump and gearbox underbody protection
Twin bonnet scoops
Wipac 8 inch spots
RVINO alloy roof rack mounted on genuine mitsubishi roof bars with 4 spotlights
Genuine Mitsubishi sports canopy with genuine bed rug liner in the tub
Rear light guards
Reverse parking sensors
Alien polythene Snorkel
Genuine Mitsubishi tow bar and twin electrics
Chassis coated with Hammerite shutz with waxoil

Mechanical / electrical
Bottom pulley changed at 66000 just before I got it with genuine mitsi part ( I have receipt)
Genuine Mitsubishi power upgrade fitted by me taking it from 113bhp to 135bhp (manufacturers figures)
Front suspension lift (2 inches)
Extended rear shackles ( 3 inch lift)
Extended spring hanger plates
Monroe adventurer rear shocks
Partial poly bushed
5x Cooper Discoverer STT tyres in good order
Genuine locking wheel nuts
K&N Apollo induction filter
EGR blanked and EGR cooler removed, thermostat changed at that time to cooler 76 degree
30mm solid alloy billet wheel spacers on front
New rear leaf springs 2012
Full rear brake pipe replacement for MOT June 2013
CB antenna mount ready for antenna, coax and power behind cubby ready for radio.
Mitsubishi 10 disc CD multichanger

Interior
Full leather trim, very small hole on drivers seat where pen stabbed it
Genuine Warrior carpet mats

£3995

If a genuine buyer does not want any of the modified parts then they can be removed and price adjusted accordingly

I'm sure there was some that thought it expensive for a classic, but it was low miles very clean and had too much kit on it to let it go for nothing, I could maybe have pushed for £4200 in another month when the weather turns but I'm happy enough with what I got

Time to tax the Landy methinks

well done bud, the fact it sold so quickly meant it was the right price
things are only worth as much as someone else is willing to pay so I'm glad you got what you wanted for it

Well as far as im concerned,up here that money is cheap for a classic..i payed 3700 for mine and bit his hand off as i couldnt get one anywhere near that money..and mine had full mitsi service history and was well looked after..i like to think i got a great buy.i wouldn't sell for 3700 thats for sure.

Yeah, there's equally a lot of rotten shit boxes on for silly money as well, but I think £3200 was all its money in standard fettle so I've got a several hundred back for the Gucci bits and my time, never even nearly broke even, but you never do

It's heading your way Col, the guys that bought it are from down here but are doing cabling from Aviemore to Inverness over the winter so wanted a 4x4

It was a really great machine and was super reliable during my stewardship and has gave me and the family lots of great memories, and allowed me to meet some very interesting people............

Nice one, dunno how I'd sell mine should the time come. Older and higher mileage than yours but similar mods.... Would probably end up breaking it I think.

That was part of the thinking for selling it as its still worth something as a truck and not just a collection of bits, another year or so and the parts are then worth more than the motor

TBH tonight is really the first time I've done anything to it, it's nice to tinker with a petrol engine again, it was running as rough as fcuk but a wee tinker with the carbs and it's much better now, need to change the radiator and rocker gaskets tomorrow to sort the water and oil leak

I'm not sure that it will be ready for the mud by that time Rab, I really need to get wheels, tyres and a snorkel sorted.......and a million other things
