Hi all,
I'm faily new to this forum, so sorry for the noobie question. I'm sure there will be more to follow in the future...
I read on here that the Gates kits are recommended, has anyone used the kit that includes the water pump? Just wondering if the water pump is any good? When changing timing belts on my previous vehicles I've changed the water pump every other belt change, to be on the safe side.
I recently bought a 53 plate Warrior with 85K on the clock, the previous owner was a bit vague when I asked when the cam belt was done (nothing written on the cover as I would of done) so I reckon it should be the 1st job I do.
Here is a kit I found on Ebay- Werbung: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321226468975?s...984.m1423.l2649
Thanks in advance
Almost forgot... I will be replacing the bottom (crank) pully while I'm in there, and use a genuine bolt and washer. Is the pully from Milners the 1 to go for?
Is there anything else I should be doing when I'm doing this job?

sounds like you've already got all the bases covered , gates belts/tensioners,water pump, bottom pulley, genuine bolt and washer, this sounds like the stuff to do the job properly
@Alan G has done many of these (and is just about to do a couple more) and I'm sure he'll mention if there is anything you have missed off your "to do" list
not done the job myself but have read that the timing marks are on the engine itself not the plastic covers (others will enlighten you on this if you need explanation, just ask)

Marty, thats a good price for all that, the pump isnt actually part of the gates kit but the seller is using some brains by offering them as a kit. I would say go for it.

Thought I better run it past you guys in the know. Is this the pulley for my engine 4D56? Also is this the place to get the bolt and washer? Milner state they are genuine parts. Or should I go to Mitsubishi UK?

get them from milners as they will be cheaper than mitsi. I got fuel pipes from them a couple of weeks ago & they were gen mitsi but half the price.
