EU Laws; Fit for its purpose!Just like buying a washing machine shouldn't bugger up after 1year cover ! Which under EU laws it is covered.
Get on the net and check EU laws. Then quote them to the garage .I took a £10 kettle back to a shop 2 1/2 years old on principle and it was replaced.

I hate to be the one to bring it up and it is way too late but this is a classic example of recon engines giving up the ghost again after a year.
Gutted for you Chris but there may be scope to get something back using the old EU law avenue. Going to be a battle though, unless the recon states it was a new crank and you can prove the one in it was old/used

I can't find my original receipt and they're saying they didn't put a new crank in because there was nothing wrong with it. I'm adamant they did. It's gonna be repaired then sadly sold. I'm going to go to a van I think for work. Will be gutted to see the chariot go
