Brian's on the case. He's doing a test build on Rabs truck. Also Rabs truck has a 2" body lift,so it will be based on that.So if you have a different body lift or a standard truck you will have to let Brian know so it will be built to fit your truck.

Ah, Noted as mine will be standard ride height. Although the bumper mounts dont move with a lift do they?

No,but if you fit one at standard height,if you lift the body later the bumper will look low so you would have to extend it to keep the look.

Suspension lifts don't alter any bumper heights be they body or chassis mounted {so no bumper adjustment required}. A chassis mounted bumper {required to run a winch plate} will obviously move away from the body as you lift it {body lift}. The plate TJM bumper I have on here somewhere is fully adjustable upto 3" of body lift and is also chassis mounted to take the winch. Tube bumpers are more problimatic to hide bulky adjustable mounting systems behind. That said I won't know until we strip Rab's truck what can be done. If the mounts end up on the side of the chassis and there is room they may be height adjustable. Failing that once made for a standard or lifted body height they would then need altered if future lifts were not restricted to suspension.

I'm happy with LED's. I think they look quite cool. You could get quite inventive with design.

@McK, did you powder coat or paint that bumper?

I prefer paint, especially for a bumper, powder coat is a pain when it gets scratched.

I concur. Was just wondering what sort of paint to use. Something tough. Smooth finish hammerite maybe. Or stone chip. But I'd rather a gloss black finish to contrast my matt black truck.
