Hi, I have a 2008 Animal Twin Cab and I am locking for a load cover as I don't really like the canopy. Can any tell me what the differences are between lengths etc My reg says it's a long bed? Thanks Sarah

I'm pretty sure yours will not be a long bed as these didn't start being put on till circa 2010 ? perhaps @Basil @Gezza @Nick may be able to confirm what year the bed size changed. Does your bed slope down slightly at the back or is it dead straight all the way to the back ? if it's straight all the way back then it sounds like it's a long bed, if it slopes slightly near the back it's a short bed.
why not join the forum and get some more advice ? plenty of photos of various trucks that may give you an idea of what you are after. If you join and post a photo up then we can tell you for certain which one you have

Thanks for that. My bed goes straight to the end and when I go for parts etc it always says long bed. I am joining as it is really useful but waiting to get home. Thnaks Sarah

Yours should be a standard bed, mine is 52" inside the tub in length.
As others say the Long bed didn't come in till 2010, unless yours has had a Long Bed tub fitted.

As Nick and Krutters have said Sarah, longbeds came in 2010, yours will be an unusual one if it is a long bed.
