OK bit of a long one but....
Had A/C recharged at quickfit, guessing they removed the battery but didnt touch much else. After that 10 miles down the road the engine light came on. Pulled over, restarted, light was gone...
Then I noticed it felt underpowered, 1st all seems fine but the higher through the gears I go the more it seems to struggle after 3k RPM.
On my private test track it struggles to get over 70 and now and again the engine has a minor stutter were it feels like its holding back for 1/2 second.
Before, it used to quite happily get up to 80 when you wanted to nip past something...
I will try and see if I can get codes read but wondered if anyone had experienced similar (53 Warrior)

Sounds like they may have knocked a VAC pipe off when they recharged your system mate, I may be completely wrong though. LezT is the man to ask.

when was the fuel filter changed last ?
I agree @LezT may well be able to point you in the direction of vac pipe issues

mine has been hesitant in the past when between 2,000 and 3,000 revs but changing the filter has always cured it
when mine had the "stutter" an ever so slight lift on the throttle for a fraction of a second then flat down again worked

Nice to have you back Kurt..
VV check the boost pressure sensor at the rear of the intercooler over the engine, should be bolted on the frame at the back, especially the rubber pipe to it, a small split from being shifted would cause your underpower.
There are really no other pipes for the vac system close to the AC stuff but there is fuel lines, have a close look at the return line from the injectors and make sure they haven't installed any 'jubilee' clips in the fuel lines...

OK, havent checked yet but an update after the drive to work, anything upto 50 seems reasonably fine maybe a little down on power but only slight. Now when over 50 thats when the almost spluttering starts and the closer you get to 70 the worse it gets feels like your playing with the throttle, on/off/on/off, thats what i mean by spluttery. Once at 70mph and when not accelerating it seems to manage to drive with only the odd splutter.
So seems to be higher speed and when accelerating, the harder you try to accelerate the worse the spluttering is. Thought Id update as the more info I can give can only help!
Just setting up my orders and will check the things Lez mentioned.

Check the vac pipes to the boost sensor and the turbo vac sensor mounted on the throttle body, after that I would be clearing the vac lines as I suspect this could just be coincidental....... have you done the fuel filter lately, also have you had any veg oil in it..?

OK, all fixed....
The pipe that was loose didn't look so great and looked like it was close to having a small hole in it so we trimmed a bit off the end and refitted, also replaced fuel filter. I think it was the pipe as after I tightened it the spluttering reduced.
Thank you all for your help, ohh and as a bonus the a/c not working was because the live wasnt connected to the compressor so the refill was free and I have a/c too! One happy L200 owner!
