Hi i was done the egr removal this evening. And the the metal pipe from the egr to the top of the pump came out,it's just an o ring so ive pushed it back in. Is it knackered or are they loose anyway????

They are loose anyway, there's a bolt that you'll need to put back in as this holds it in place, if you look at the pipe you'll see that its got a bracket on it, this will have to be bolted back into one of the holes that the egr was bolted onto the engine.

Oh and you will need to check the o rings or replace them if they are worn, also you'll need to top your cooling system back up as you'd of lost some.

Doing a coolant flush as well and refilling with deionised water and coolant so thats not a problem just need to check the o ring tomoz cheers lads.

When you have checked the o ring as these are a push fit I would put a little bit of sealer round it aswell when I first got my truck I had a leak there

Unlike the new turbo then mate, no leaks on that one was there...

Got it back together and all ok no leaks so sorted.
