was looking to know is there much work in removing the
rear body of an 04 anamail l200 and roughly how long it would take

Think its about 6 bolts unplug the light loom and a couple of people to lift off
Im sure someone will put me right if i lack the technical stuff

If you are referring to the rear tub, not much. It just bolts to the chassis.
Prob about an hrs work if you spray the bolts with WD40 for a day or two.
It is quite heavy and will need 2 or 3 people to lift it off.

Dave and Nick are spot on, get the bolts soaked as they'll be rusty, but just 6 bolts and the loom plug is just under the tub, inside the drivers rear wheel arch..

is there a summer thermostat as my jeep is sitting at 3/4 on the temp
the man i bought it of said it just needs a summer stat in would this be true
Never heard of a summer thermostat bud ......... sounds like you may be being fobbed off a bit there
just about everyone with a classic has theirs sat at half way on the temp gauge. Anything higher usually suggests overheating and possible head gasket failure.

check for bubbling in the header tank when on tick over

Yes they do 2 stats for the L200, one opens earlier than the other.
