I got my Sierra 4x4 main prop reconditioned at pj prop shafts in Glasgow, 2 new hardy spicers, a new centre bearing and re-balanced, supplied and fitted for £100, worth looking for a local specialist.
Former owner of a 2003 L200 WARRIOR IN SILVER and a 2001 L200 ANIMAL IN RED/SILVER

I would do it again,but if funds are tight sometimes the only way to go is d.i.y...

TBH if we have truck UJ's to do it's far cheaper and easier to outsource it, centre bearings are an hours work so I do them but UJ's are not viable without the right equipment...
I also will agree with Woody, thats funds allowing... they're not impossible, but can be a pain if the rollers slip...
