Spotted this on the MIG Welding Forum (requires free membership to view) and it seemed a very good price.
For anyone working on bodywork, TIG tends to be a much better fit than MIG. Also good for stainless steel (exhausts, etc).

hi guys, as some of you may have seen on my other posts i have just purchased a sip160 ac/dc tig and as a result i now no longer need my dc tig, cant justify having 2.
the tig is in good working order and comes with a 4mtr torch and 1.5 meter return lead, the gas hose is fitted but there is no reg as i need this for my other machine. has a 16amp plug fitted.
collection would be best but i can post at cost, will post anywhere in the uk but it would have to be tracked and signed for, sorry but been burned in the past.
im looking for £150 plus whatever shipping costs.
just to add what the shipping cost me it will cost you i dont charge extra to pack it up and walk to the p/o

Scott, I don't know if any of your welding forum chums are interested but I am moving on my snap on 130 turbo mig for spares or repair, it powers up put needs a wire feed clamp and a torch liner, other than that it worked fine the last time I used it

Nae worries, GB. If you want me to put an ad up on your behalf, send me a couple of pics and a description and I'm happy to put it up.
One point re the m-w-f is that they insist on a price ("or nearest offer" is fine) so if you have an idea what you want for it, that would be good.
I'm now on three welders; my heavily mod'd MIG, a shit 100A buzzbox (that I need to offload) and a 210A stick from that landrover boy who claimed to know (of) you. It's addictive - I just need to find something to weld now...

I just fabricated a frame and register plate for my chimney, I've used all manner of machines professionally and although far from the most sophisticated, my wee Clarke 150 mig is great and welds really well on pub co2, (that reminds me i need to get my other bottle re-filled)
I'm going to build a new garage in the summer and get back to doing bits and bobs and I can see me investing in a plasma cutter at some pint in the future.
I'll get some pics and give you a shout mate, the wee snap on mig is just lying in a corner and would be an easy fixer or parts donor

Aha! Brian - I may take you up on that, if you don't mind... I'm skotl on the m-w-f, too, and posted recently re scrappies and metal merchants around Edinburgh.
Will check out the garage forum - my ~2 year plan is to build an extension on me garage

Yes Tam its made by cebora, they done them for themselves, snap on and Boc, I bought it when I was an apprentice and its paid for it's self time and again, I was going to fix it as you can still get everything for them, but I got a bigger mig for good money and that'll do me fine so I've no need for the snap on one now so if rather move it on
