parting out the pagero

not expecting much intrest in this as it's a bit old now, but thought i'd offer it up, bought a 2.5 auto swb padgero to throw on the sacrifcal alter to keep the l200 running.

if theres anything off it that'd be of use to you drop me a pm, everything on the truck seems to work, pulling the engine out of it for my l200 everything else from it is avalible, the old motor from mine is avalible as well ether for rebuild or bits off it, cause of death was cranckshaft keyway. the rest of the engine looks servicable and did run well

Really the auto box in the L200 ?

to be fair to it in the padge it feels very keen and a lot more willing than i ever thought it would, but surely it would be really numb in the l200 ? for a while i was considering putting a 2.8 and autobox in there as told repetadly the 2.8 wouldn't go on the manual box. anyway that sat in the workshop for to long and ended up in a mates truck. then ended up makeing an adaptor kit and put 4.0 rover v8 in the truck got it running and driveing only to end up takeing it out and it's curently liveing in another mates landrover 90. the last plan was a 5.7 LS1 v8 and running it on lpg. possobly useing the 2.8 auto box but been busy since then then this 2.5 padge turned up so though just bang the motor in and jobs a good one.

@LezT has always said to stick the auto box in a L200 as the gearing is better and oh i forgot the rest but it drops the revs apparenty and makes the engine live longer

There are a few (very few) auto classic L200s. The box will probably swap in. In the workshop section there is a Mitsubishi Model Build/Crossover table so you could see if they ever fitted that box(or a variant) to your model L200.

cheers for that, all changed round a bit now, after ages of not been abel to find a motor they start landing on my feet.

all from the same place and for sort of free
one with a cracked head 2005 , that i chould duff the head off my old engine on. another complete 2005 engine thats been overhauled . and a 2009 engine gearbox box, and a box full of wireing loom.

so think i'm best off slapping big whees on the padge and trialing it to death before scrapping now
