Hiya everyone, I joined the other day (still waiting to have my account upgraded... ;))

I'm planning on getting an L200 later in the year and as part of my "swotting up" before I buy one I thought I'd ask what are the obvious things to look out for when buying one?

Also - when I've got one I wanna make mod it with things like

Snorkel
Wheel spacers
Lift kit
Spotlights galore
OtherstuffthatIdon'tknowyetbutwillbecooltohave!!!

I'm not a mechanic but my brother is (sooo handy!) so he'll definitely get roped in to having a look with me when the time is right :)

what sort of budget have you got , what sort of age truck are you looking for, and where abouts are you ?
