L.E.D. light bar and keyless entry system

#1 by gundog , Tue May 26, 2015 10:10 pm

I have my 120w light bar for sale, I also have an upgrade for it to 24v, so you get the full brightness.

I also have a keyless entry system for sale, this system allows you to unlock or lock just by walking up to or away from your truck. I fitted both of these to my truck, so I know that both work, but due to early retirement, I now have these for sale. Let me know if you require any more details. I'm open to sensible offers.

There's a PIC of the light bar in the members trucks. The entry system will work on any classic, its fairly easy to fit, and it has a microwave sensor so you can leave the windows open too.

I honestly can't remember what I paid for it, I can remember me and let was throwing ideas around and I found the system. I'm open to offers on it as its only in the garage gathering dust. I have no use for it now, unless I could use it on an electronic wheelchair lol

I did think that but I've already worked out that I'm going to need an extra battery system wired in for the stereo, if I had them on it, I'd need a hybrid engine to power it all hahahaha

Can I just say, I'm not sure if I made it clear, the keyless entry system, this has a proximity sensor, so when you walk away it locks and unlocks as you approach, it also has a microwave sensor, so you can leave tools in the back or the windows open. This is not a simple remote locking system.

Lemmy, you haven't got any theories as to whether the light stays on after you shut your fridge door too have you ?

Gundog, that sounds like a nice keyless entry system you got there bud. I like the idea of it opening when you get close to it. I guess there is some kind of fob thing you attach to your keys or keep on you that activates and deactivates it ? can you adjust it to alter the range it detects at ?

@Lemmy you can't adjust the range, but yes there's a fob that you put on your keys, it has buttons on as if you leave the truck for 24 hours, it goes into sleep mode and you have to use the fob to unlock it, you can tell that its locked as it chirps and the indicators flash
