Hi big problem with L200 diesel 2.5 litre Engine I hope mitsubishi expert can help?
When engine revs above 1200 the throttle valve on inlet manifold shuts engine will only then run at idle speed no power engine fault light on
If you switch off engine leave for 10 secs, start up engine running smooth fault light now off
Rev again above 1200rpm throttle valve snaps shut fault back

I have run diagnostic test fault code set = internal ecu fault. Do not need to clear fault just switch ign off for10 secs fault is cleard
Now the fun begins .Had ecu tested but only a static test as firm could not simulate running test no fault found
I bought S/H ecu immobolizer key etc wired it in as could not get any body to fully test L200 ECU you have guessed fault still there ECU not at fault
I have tested throttle valve no fault .ECU is commanding the valve to shut
Has anybody had this fault or any thoughts as to the problem
I know how the throttle valve should work closed, when engine is switched off,wide open if accelerated, slitely closed on cruise for egr
