in the garage i got a roofbox on a thule roof rack we took off my dads saab 9000 before he got rid of it.
hes never gonna use it so id like to.
can i just buy a different foot pack for the bars for like £15 and then pop it on ? or are the bars suited for the cars and foot packs?
if that makes any sense ?

i sold a foot pack for a fiver for the 200 a while bck so yeh just change them they might even fit

I had an old Paddy Hopkirk roof rack from a volvo 460 ....I purchased thule footpack 2041 ( I think! ) and the square hopkirk bars fitted fine ...needed shortening but a hacksaw solved that, and the pack i got were the feet to fit in the runners , not over the edge of the roof.....

so if they are square bars I think you'll be fine....

Yeah it's the old style quick release one I think the locks are on the end of the bars itself.

I've got a thule rack from a fiat bravo (I think it was) on mine and all I had to buy was the correct footpack (thule 1236) for my classic and they fitted perfectly
