Lifting a l200 help

#1 by Shane ( Guest ) , Wed Jul 29, 2015 11:12 pm

Got a 2002 l200

Looking to lift it up.

Been told to wind torsion bars up? Shall i jack the wheels of the floor todo this.

How do i lift the rear? Also what shocks to fit to get maximum twist without busting my brake hoses

Heard something called a ball joint trick. What i read is undo the front top ball joints and fot them the other way around to give a extra 1 1/2 inch lift

Found the site then,
I'd Jack it up as it takes the weight off them someone had a bolt snap.
And the balljoint is removed then fitted under the arm with the spacer.
It dose put your camber out and puts the cv joint at a tight angle
