Hi,Im going to view 2 l200s tomorrow..It will be the first pick up I have ever owned..1 is a 2000 plate warrior 12mths test 98000miles,it has a back on,she said she will take £1100 for it..The other is a 52 plate 8mths test no back but chrome rack..£1700..
Is there anything I need to look out for or is 1 truck preferable over the other..thanx

check them both out mate check for signs of HG faliure for sure take it on a long drive make sure u throw in a good long hill on a major road and watch the temp needle

and check the 4wd works and make sure the lights on the dash come on and go off when u turn the key

If you cant check the 4x4 on soft ground and can only be done on tarmac only drive it in a straight line or you will get transmission wind-up green light should come on when you engage 4x4, instructions are usually on the drivers door above the the electric window buttons, after your drive pop the bonnet and check the expansion bottle for bubbles, this will be on the passenger side by the headlight. Good luck with viewing, try and get as much info as possible including service history up to date

Hg = headgasket. You wil here that this us common on L200s, but bear in mind how many L200s are on the roads and that you only hear about the bad bits generally speaking. Impossible to predict headgasket failure in my opinion and is a bit of a lottery to whether it will fail or not.
