Its for a Classic Grieg, not much use for a new shape apart from looks cos the turbo cant be adjusted without a re-map.

Cheaper and easier to use a fault code reader and get the readings, displayed on that, £20 for the torque reader and it does far more, temps egt, intake temps etc and of ccourse the codes read and cancelled, and you can have it on permantntly with 6 guages in dial or digital form, can record readings for analysis later if you wish.

Yes Lez its in 'phone applications' Torque reader. I have another reader T69 which cost 3 times as much but to be honest the little Torque thing that works with Android phones is better and if you have a holder for your phone you can mount it so its on permanently with either 6 different dials or just select one big one if a particular guage is wanted. It reads every sensor on the new shapes and can read and cancel eml codes in seconds. Can also use it with a laptop if you have bluetooth.

Torque Android Diagnostics for newshapes

Yup, its a shame it wont work with the classics, nobody makes one for them, some expensive gear works but its not really portable.

Good stuff, Luke

I have a question tho.... do you need to run an air hose all the way to the gauge or is all the air stuff figured out in the engine bay and only an electrical cable to the gauge?

I'm guessing this one has a tube all the way to the gauge and electricals for power and dim. But yeah there are different types.

On that note Lez I was thinking about taking my WI pressure switch and boost gauge from one of the vac pipes that comes straight off the turbo. That should work, right?

If you use the V V vacuum feed then you'll have WI boost at the same time as turbo.

I don't have a vv turbo. But that was my thinking, which is what I need.
