Hi
I'm new to this wondering if I could get some advice.
I have a 2004 l200 had standard 16inch alloys wanted to swap with some 15s with bigger tyres the guy I got alloys from said they came off his old l200 they are l200 alloys but they didn't fit so I got some 30mm wheel spacers to hopefully clear them but they are still rubbing bad.
Any ideas???
Thanks?
[Thanks1]
yep get the correct 16" wheels 15s will only fit older L200s with ssmaller discs and calipers

no mate you have twin pot calipers on your truck and larger diameter brake discs you probably have ABS too bigger spacers may clear the calipers say 50mm but then you run other risks.
where you from why not register on the forum its free mate
if you had or registered you would have known this before you spent your hard earned cash.

From Essex mate
Yeah I wish I had registered before.
I have put new tyres on them re sprayed them and now they don't fit. I'm in about 600 for these wheels and tyres got bf Goodrich 31 1050 on them.
Now I have wheels that are useless.
I have registered now but have to be approved that's why I come up as guest.
Thanks
had this trouble myself bud, got some nice 15 inch big offset wheels and tyres then found they wouldn't fit my truck due to the calipers being too big (16 inch alloys as standard)
had a choice of
fitting smaller calipers
fitting wider spacers
selling and cutting my losses
I chose the last of my options ,lesson well and truly learnt by me

someone will have them off you i am sure mate 600 is a bit steep TBH for second hand wheels and tyres you could have got new in the correct size on steels for just over that.

Yeah think I may just cut my loses.
Tyres are brand new done 100 meters they cost me 480 fitted second hand wheels cost me 100 and then 40 in paint. Not to ,mention to 30mm bulldog spacers that's another 100.
I'm gutted to be honest. Can I get 16inch steel wheels with be Goodrich tyres? Or can it not be done!? Where is the best place to get wheels and tyres???
I live in Colchester mate.
Thanks
