Morning peeps,
noticed last night , after the truck was delivered back to me after having a couple of tyres fitted, that when i went to start it , the starter spun really fast ( Like a dentist drill sound is the best way i can describe it ) first turn of the key , but second turn it engaged fine .....Guessing solenoid???

My past experience is once they start to fail it's on it's way out, the time taken in removing the old one you might aswell fit a new or recon and then recon your old one yourself, loads of help on YouTube

well going out to have a look between hail and thunder /lightening storms , it seems first turn of the key it sounds like a drill , as i turn it off you can hear it engage and that second key turn it is engaging

I have used the 'hammer' method in the past on previous cars but be careful it has been known for the field coil bonding to crack.
