HI, after a few bottles of steel seal which got me through Xmas,my engine has finally completely gone. I have been getting quotes from various places,I have found a company that will recover truck and fit a recon engine for around £1700 but the parts come from Taiwan, Does anyone have any feedback/knowledge of parts from Taiwan, I would appreciate any advise Thanks

Personally wouldn't go down the line of a recon engine ... for 1800+vat and fitting on top you can get a new engine from milner off road.

Thanks for getting bk to me,It does include fitting and a service all new belts etc and vat included for 1700 the other quotes were around £1500 for swopping engine for a non recon short engine, I just not sure about Taiwan parts as opposed to Japanese
