CB ARIAL

#1 by Antonio , Mon Feb 29, 2016 6:59 am

Hi all, just wanted to ask as I will be installing my cb soon, I have a double Arial cable and was thinking if I installed one end on top light bar and other end on front bumper but would only use one Arial just swap it over e.g. on bumper for lanning and on roof for p&p, would this work or would the cable not used still pick up and cause issues?

It would cause big problems both need to be matched,ie same height same twig and matching them is a time consuming job, I have both on my roll bar short twigs no problems

Mine spends 99% of it's life switched off, But on a offroading trip with a group of buddies it's the best thing you can have. Makes everything much more sociable and easier to communicate hazards and obstacles.

it is a set requirement for Ollie to have one so he can pass his vast knowledge onto the group when we are in Northumberland ;)
