Hi Im new to this forum I have a 2005 animal and the preheat light does not come on so cant start the vehicle called green flag and he put cable from battery straight to relay and preheat light came on and car started as soon as he took the cable off the engine cut out any ideas as the garage I had it taken too are scratching their heads as well don't forget you are talking to me and not a car mechanic lol thanks

temp sensor maybe ecu fault without testing it hard to say
