trying to locate a magnet small enough to fit down the hole
I'm hoping can get it out without the need of a tear down
how does it work bill wise for having to get that done am I going to have to suck it up and pay for the whole job?

not sure milners might say up yours another trick is to get a drinking straw tape it to ur vacuum cleaner and stick the straw in the hole to suck up the bits,
easier to do if the piston in question is at the top if it aint u could rotate the crank until it is to make life easier, u could also pull that injector out too that is a bigger hole to play with

injector removal requires tearing down the inlet manifolds as there buried underneath it all

u could try starting it and see if it flys out of the hole itself! not for the faint hearted

lol yeah id reckon the odds are worse than the lottery for that
biggest problem with putting it back together to try is egr and throttle body have to go back on and come off again so new gaskets would possibly be ok to reuse

if u don't have a magnet id try the straw and vac method can u feel the top of the piston if u poke something in the hole

just tried to get a tube in its impossible due to where the head steps in and just lets the electrode through looks like its a tear down job might be possible to remove the injector to do it

tried a straw on the end as well but that made no real impact it could pass through into the cylinder head but not enough suction plus only limited to a straight line looks like its injector out job

milners not interested just gave refund for the plugs passing the buck onto glow plug relay or water temp sensor the ngk plugs that came out had no noticeable defects I only changed them due to doing a complete service of all fluids and filters wish I never bothered as cant see any fault developing in less than 2 months with any other components as the van never liked the plugs from the start
last time ill be ordering from there

You can feel the straw move on top of the piston the issue is poor access and the plugs are nearly twice the length of the k74 plugs so you cant move the straw about only forward and backwards
