Is there any form of protection that should have been fitted between the edge of an over rail load liner and the side of the load area on a series 5 l 200 it was fitted by Mitsubishi and has left marks right along both sides only been on for one month,had it fitted to new pickup to protect it till I decided which canopy to get

I had one of these on my 15 Plate L 200 and no there was nothing between the body and side of the load liner, but mine did have some form of adhesive on the floor of the truck and load liner to help keep it in place, I know from what I have been told from other people that the over rail load liners can do this as you have to remember the truck will flex whilst driving and the liner can rub on the sides.

Not ideal I know !
