You want movement like the a drawing on the right with the stick. That way your putting the arc right into the centre on the point of the v, then when your pushing the arc back into the v's your pushing the weld back up into the outers. Sort of shoving the molten metal back into the weld filling any gaps. Helps prevent slag holes. Or brothels as I call them. Lol

DOH! I started reading this because I was interested to know how to make my own cinema at home! I obviously misread the title. Anyway, disappointed as I am I discover that's it's a patio heater type thing ... Brilliant concept, somewhat inelegant but with an interesting take on materials of construction and quality control. Cutting up a gas bottle is not for feint hearted ... it looks like a cross between a Doodlebug (V1 rocket) and a moonshiner's still. It could be a contender for an Xprize competition. Nice bit of backwoods engineering outta ya my man. I wanna do something like that ...

I started life with nothing and I still have most of it left!

All you need now is 2 more gas bottles each side and turn them into ovens for BBQ stuff , redirect the heat with exhaust pipe . Still looking good as it is
