Hi all,
Been lusting after a L200 for quite a while, and finally brought myself a L200 barbarian on a '13 plate.
However, whenever I turn on the ignition I get beeping for about 10 seconds. I head a look through the user manual, and did a lot of googling and couldn't find any reference to it.
I asked the salesman and he said it was probably a warning that the glowplugs were still warming up, and not to start the engine until the beeping stopped.
Fair enough, it seems a bit excessive to me.. and couldn't find it in the user manual (may of missed it?).
Can anyone confirm this is actually the problem.. and if not any ideas? Any help or advice appreciated!
Thanks
Is it the seat belt warning bleeper.
Fasten the seat belt before you turn the ignition on, see if it cures it.

Yep, this was an official Mitsubishi approved dealership also. I didn't think the glowplugs explanation sounded quite right.
Ahh cool Nick, it all seems great so far apart from the Kenwood headunit!
Cheers

I don't think there's anything wrong with it, so to speak. It just feels slow and clunky!

Ahh cool, I'll have a look into that. A software update on it might help.
Cheers.
