So after towing my caravan for about 130 miles all fine no heavy braking. Dropped van or cane round hard left bend and got a screaching coming from front right.
Pads look as if some meat left on but they getting changed. Am i right in thinking it is something to do with the pads being low as ive heard the 2006 new shapes have a squealer system on that does it when pads are low.
As it is drums on the back and twin axle caravan i think its alot of work for the front brakes. So what is the best uprated brakes

Yes wear indicators on the front pads, could be causing it.
Had my new discs n pads on for 4 weeks now, massive improvement over standard.
