Hi everyone,
I have an L200, 2004 model (Japanese import), automatic.
After fixing the interior switch on the rear fog lamp, the truck seems to have gone into limp mode (stuck in what feels like 3rd) and the SRS light is showing on the dash. This happened whilst on route to the garage to get the front down pipe on the exhaust replaced, so admittedly I haven't been able to check it since Saturday but am assuming it will be the same situation when I pick it up tomorrow.
Any suggestions on what's caused this to happen? Has the Computer tripped and needs re-setting? I've been told that it could be a grounding issue and to try and disconnect the battery?
Any clarification or advice on the issue would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Ollie
Hi So have you disconnected the battery yet leave it disconnected for a good while so everything shuts down. ie on the day you don't work disconnect the night before and reconnect. in the morning and see if thats made any difference. You may have disturbed some wires behind the dash. did you just remove the switch or take the whole dash face off.

Thanks for the reply.
No I haven't disconnected it yet, but that'll be the first thing I try.
The only parts of the dash that I removed was under the steering wheel - may be that I've knocked some cables out of joint.
Fingers crossed its an easy job to fix...
Thank you,
Ollie
