I have joined but waiting for the confirmation.
I have the chance to buy a import 2.8 l200 reg 05
or a shogun sport 03 with 2.5 diesel
My questions are
Does the l200 import come with any hidden things like hard to get parts, higher insurance anything in particular to look for when buying.

The shogun sport has the 2.5 engine and it sounds a bit tractor like, and where the side steps or the sills seems quite rusty. Is this normal.

Do they normally suffer rust.

The 2.8 is a far superior engine and although rare in an L200, it's common in the shogun / pajero, so shouldn't be an issue for parts. Grey market imports can sometimes be a little more to insure, but out of the two I'd defo go for the 2.8 every time
