Basil

wired in the new Lez Trend designed L200 forum spotlight plug and play loom - took longer to wire the roof light bar! what a result, thanks Lez
Basil
Fitted the osram nightbreakers, led side light bulbs and wound up torsion bars to level the truck off and give clearance for the new Cooper tyres.
Done the front pads and discs to her indoors Zafira and got a set of 4 steels from the scrappy and put on a set of 4 winter tyres for her, all at my expense you understand

Looks good Geoff, perhaps its worth passing your number onto Inverness Caley in the event they ever have a flood light failure

lol - and it works on the unwary too!! - one foolish fellow came round the corner towards me with his lights up, just after this and BOOM! right in his face - and I put mainbeam on haha
Beaming Basil
i have six across the roof, 4 of them contain angel eyes, the other two are projectors, all have 100`s in them, as you say people who wont dip suddenly for some reason not only dip but seem to swerve across the road to the curb
you can just see the projectors under the bar

how`ve you managed the wires from all that lot mike?
twin big relays and a fuse box to the front of the battery tray, switch wires under the truck and in through the floor gromet in the passenger footwell, power wires along chassis, up back of cab to a pair of ten socket multi blocks on the roof, means i can take them off if need be, the lot are servo ed to the main beams so when i dip they do, they earth down a couple of cables to the chassis as well they aint all just facing one direction, i have a spread from them, tbh its pointless lighting up something a mile away, your needing good light on our trucks a lot closer in, especially off roading at night, which i do when i go fishing down the beach

only problem having your lights up there and behind you, the roof cuts off a good part the beam, and even worse, fog/rain and heavy snow, the bloody light comes straight back in your face, ideal world would have a front A bar with a second set of spots on it which you could use in those conditions

I got shot of my canopy and am currently designing a flat tarp and bungy "trampoline" to stop turbulence. Bars are good and if the snows that bad, mike is spot on (pardon the pun) main beam just from your headlights is sh!t. for the number of times it happens , even where I am above the snowline. I prefer this look
