Hi all,
You're a friendly bunch aren't you!!!! I like this forum already.
I'm in Oxford and I've defected from landy-land (I know, you don't need to say it).
I have recently picked up a 57 plate Animal double cab with an SJS hardtop and 80,000 on the clock. Everything is stock at the minute apart from new BFG rubber.
There would be more except, and here's the kicker, it's been in and out of the garage chasing an overheating problem (fortunately under warranty).
Currently had new thermostat, new water pump, flow test on the rad (came back ok), EGR cooler removed and tested, head off and tested (again ok) but gasket replaced. Get it back this weekend so fingers crossed, can't wait to get it muddy.

there were a few early newshape trucks that suffered head gasket failures , I remember there was an "uprated head gasket" available which then prevented it from future failure
it's been a while since we've heard of this though
if it's under warranty then taking it back as many times as is necessary is definitely the answer

That was my thinking, the garage are being really good with it as they were as naffed off as I was when it shot the coolant out after 70 miles on the motorway!

Hi Folks,
Thanks for letting me in!
Pretty new to the L200 gang (14 months) having had Subaru's in every shape and 'anger level' previously. I live in Devon near to Newton Abbot out in the 'sticks' so the truck does the job perfectly - Shifting around animal feed, fencing materials and logs.
It's a 55 plate Warrior Club/Extra Cab - It was taken as a trade in by my local Subaru garage as a trade against a new D-max. It's had a very hard life on a farm and i'm slowly sorting all the problems. It won't win and concours shows though......
Know doubt i'll be asking advice in the near future.
Many thanks
Simon.

Hi everyone & thanks for the warm welcome.
Based in the north west here, in the forest of Bowland. Got myself a '05 plate Animal back in September --- I'm a bit of a perfectionist so have been chasing various minor issues, and posts here have already been a lot of help :-)
