Hi Guys quick question regards replacing turbo on a new shape 2006. I´m midway through the tear down and replacement job. Will probably be ready to start after a couple more evenings. Anyone got any tips on a way to "prime" the turbo before it actually starts. I will obviously inject new oil in the oil inlet when I install the turbo, but on previous times where I have done similar jobs I have also made sure there is not fuel for example so the first few cranks circulate the fluids before you allow it to actually start and run. Is there an easy way to crank the motor on an l200 and not allow it to start. I have not looked on this vehicle but classically I would do something like stop the fuel solenoid on the injection pump energising. Is the possible on this motor, or something similar? Thanks in advance. Regards J

One way to do it without it registering a fault code is to energise the starter with the ignition off.
