Hi L200 people. Just a short introduction from myself to say I'm looking for valuable information which will help me on my quest for an K200. Once I get one, I can hopefully maintain it with your help.
My experience with K200 came in the form of a 2004 model which I drove through much of SE Asia. It was a low mileage example so I will use it as my reference point when looking for a later model.
I look forward to hanging around the forum.

Hi All
Just got myself a 2003 double-cab L200 for a project I'm working on, it's truck bed cover design (am I allowed to advertise it on here?). Even though I'm a Londoner I love to put my 4x4s to the test when I get out of London, previous 4x4s have been 4.2L Renegade and 2.5TD Delica and I'm looking forward to getting the L200 in the mud. Would be good to meet some new people at the next get together.

Thank you for the warm welcoming.
Originally from Canada, but now living in Jordan; I just picked up a 2006 L200 (I believe an MK5, but perhaps someone can help pin down the exact model from my photo). The truck is in pretty good shape, but have already had a scare with overheating - so I found a few of the forums on this topic quite helpful to control the nerves. Looking to do some modest upgrades in the near future (tires, snorkel, etc.) as there is well-establish 4X4 club here in Jordan that have some events/tracks out near the Dead Sea.

Hi Hotchef
Wo - a 'Forum Legend' huh.... I'm a North of the river Islington boy, a long time ago in a galaxy far far away there used to be a 4x4 meet every other month in Cross Street N1 where I rocked up in my Renegade but that might be before your time! When I was based in the States I took my Ram 1500 to some great events - basically trucks, tents, country music, guns and beer and still managed to be kid friendly. So what are the meets like here now? e.g kid friendly? weekend camp? beer tent? mud events?
