Alternator

Hi all.
Just bought my first pick up.
Had a few teething issues being an old cheapy but looks forward to getting some fun from her.
Biggest challenge being that the alternator is bust and sourcing a suitable replacement.
So, spoke to a local garage and they can't help as they say that the truck is a grey import and that their factors aren't sure what will fit. It was imported as new from Spain in oct 2000
The part is a2tn1199at
it's a 12v 74amp unit.
Have a 90amp battery fitted

My question is that milner offroad suppliers have said that their 90amp alternator is fine. My engine model is 4d56 and milners say it is the k74, which shows half way through the chassis number, which directs them to sell me the 90amp unit.

Has anyone else had this query and Will I be fine putting that unit in or do i need to find a 75amp to match what was on before. Some forums say that if I add sound systems, spots lights winches etc, then I would want a larger capacity alternator so want to check that this 90amp unit will fit and work for me or am I missing something obvious.

Cheers
