Hi.
Went to buy the wife a small car for her commute and came home with an old pickup. Whoops, she gets the family wagon now for work.
I wanted one for ages and saw this one parked on a steep pile of rocks with a for sale sign in the window.
It's a silver 2000 model double cab k74 (grey import I've been told) 128k well used.
Added a chrome roll bar and a set of chunky cooper at3's for the pimp factor
Last owner had done fair amount of maintenance but it still Came with many gremlins and work required but as paid little for her accepted it. Stuff done in the past 3 months includeg;
First outing battery died. The alternator was buggered so upgraded to a 90amp
Needed wiring so indicators would work (now the brake lights are not working
New clutch kit - which was supplied by seller though the new clutch release bearing is noisy when pedal is touched
Nasty noise when 4wd engaged, have new driveshafts and cv joints to go on as there is play.
New exhaust system - Milner's 4x4 we're very cheap. Fitting coat as much as did it have time!
Mot due soon so waiting for he extensive list.
Love it though. Great for my home renovation and mountain biking.
Based near Stafford so local l200 fans pleae help keep my garage bills down🤑
