I used a bitumen based stuff too, far nicer, neater and easier to use than tetrosyl and the likes,

Yup! And even better when it was "borrowed" for nothing from my last job! Lol
In this weather just liquid enough to brush on.
I like those covers, looks real smart.

Yup will get a pic. They are part of the roll bar I believe. Roll bar has threads in it, bracket was attached by 17mm bolt when I bought the truck.
Nice covers!

Covers ? ........................Covers .................they are cough genuine ........................cough .....................bone fide............cough KC Daylighters il have you know ..........cough cough cough .......................sorry i have an awful cough !! pmsl
Today I fitted a Snorkel and a de cat to Mitsi, both pig jobs, seems the Safaris have more fixings than the other Snorkels 6 in all, my arm is now well and truly chewed from being up inside the wing, worth it in the end though, its a beautiful fit, really happy with it.
If i did it again i would get a hole saw though............
De cat ...... well ..... angle grinder on inside front bolt ..... job done ..... outside front bolt ..... grinder only just touches it length ways ........ so Dremel ............... blowtorch ......chisel .......... (smashed hand from when i missed the chisel ........... )
Again though now its on it looks lovely, i may actually get under the truck each week and polish it such is its beauty (im serious)
And well impressed with the additional grunt and the lovely louder turbo whistle!!
Im satisfied this evening !!
do L200's need breather kits as well as snorkels like landy's?

Nice, kinda like the one I owned for several weeks by proxy
It looks good mate, well done, you should get someone who has yet to fit the alien one to make a template of the inner wing plate and send it to you, and make one out a bit of sheet steel or ally
