My interior light doesn't work on opening doors, works as normal light,button switched in furthest position to the near side,but other than than that doesn't work,( and for some reason who ever wired the alarm one of the remote buttons puts light on)

The switch on the door pillar will be knackered, does the passenger door light up when opened.

None of them come on, not sure which position the switch should be

Pushed in is off out is on, put a circuit tester on it, I think a single screw holds the switch, remove the switch and test for power

Sorry, when I said switch I was talking about interior light, will test to see if there is power there

do you get a light on your dash to tell you the door is open or not ? if not then it's gotta be an issue with the door pin circuit I'd have thought

Didn't realise there was such a light, learn something new everyday

I aint good with electrics ..... tiz witchcraft to me but someone will be able to tell you how to check it for sure @123hotchef perhaps ?

all I know is there should be a red light come on , on your dash when you've a door open as in this pic

if it were me, I'd be taking each door pin out checking for corrosion and giving it a squirt of WD or the like first just to see if that cures it
