Hi all new to site and have just filled I'm my registration.
My speedo stopped working on 2007 l200 took it to garage and he changed speedo sensor but still didn't work.
He then found broken wire around the gearbox he fixed that and the speedo worked.
It lasted about a week and now it stopped working again.
Took it back checked speedo sensor again the cable to the sensor plugged it into computer and there is no fault code.
Could anybody help please

if yours is an auto, then check all the loom to the gearbox as early autos sometimes have issues with the loom rubbing on the chassis or crossmember and causing strange faults

Sorry I didn't post that no it's the 5 speed manual box
I thinks it's more electrical fault a short or something because the fuel gauge plays up sometimes.
It's on 1/4 then the fuel light comes on then it's back upto 1/4 tank again
