Steering wheel refurb

Hey @animal . You say there are specialist sprays for refurbing steering wheels and gearstick knobs etc... Just wondering if you've tried this before? Is it something an amateur could do? I don't want to destroy my steering wheel... how much would charge if you're interested?
'02 K74 single cab.
