boost gauge

#1 by 123hotchef , Tue Jul 03, 2012 10:23 am

Started fitting the boost gauge yesterday.
Until the rain stopped play!
Had to cut the binical up a wee bit to get the gauge to fit, but it is looking good.
Wires run just need to fit gauge, fit sender, T into the boost pipe and wire it up.
Refit it all and away we go.
I will post some pics when all done and maybe a how to

No probs just here to help mate, love it when a plan comes together... All the colours are in the wiring diagram as you found out.......... they are easy to follow with a little bit of patience.............. anyone who would like a little better understanding of vehicle electrics can check out the 'electrical lessons' in the electrical section... downloadable for easy reading............. More to come if anyone is interested..

I could not find the diagrams of the numbered connectors ie C45 in this case.
Are the diagrams for every plug somewhere?

It was on the wiring diagram page with the multimeter, if you look around the multimeter there is a square dotted line and over to the lright ( ?) is the legend C45...Have a look in the front of the 97 diagram document and there is all the info on reading the diagrams...

DOH.............. on page 4-151 of the'98 manual, there are layouts of the relevant plugs at the bottom of the page and under the word multi meter on the right it says C-45. Each plug relevant to the shown circuit is on every page.....
The colour codes and pin numbers are close to the edge of the dotted line box around the Thermometrr bit in the centre.......
Still luv ya...
