pug 306 STILL!

This is for anybody out there, that has knowledge of diagnostics!!
love the little car, but is now getting me frustrated! had the air bag connections fixed a couple of years ago, but it then started to drain battery, bought new batt , but decided to lay car up for a while. Yesterday thougt I would have a 'tinker' with it. turns over a treat, fuel getting to plugs, now here is the frustrating bit, I can cancel the imobiliser. Switch on have red and green lights on keypad, management light is on, BUT then it starts flashing as well as headlights flash.Points to alarm, there is a button on side of ignition switch to cancel, nope, also a button next to battery to press, still nothing. Anybody out there have any ideas? e mailed 4 mobile diagnostics to come round but no answer! Think they are trying to tell me something

On a seriuos note try disconnecting the battery again , leave it overnight and see if the system resets?

Tried that a couple of times, even tried touching earth and live ( not while connected!!) no luck, typical french electrics, I think they do it on purpose to pay us back!! even the motorhome died at 200 miles from new, we didn't have it then!!

Does it have one of them immobilisers that you have to put a code in by the gear stick?
Is it working ok?

nah key pad shows a green and a red light, tried disconnecting pad but no different. not worried about pad or immobiliser, thinking of trying to bypass both so it is turn key and away, just like the old days!!
