Hi Folks,
Cant make head nor tail of my front fog lights on my recently purchased K74, The rear fogs work fine but the front fog light switch (next to the rear fog light switch), which doesn't exist according to the owners manual just switches on the side lights. I can do exactly the same job by turning the side lights on at the stalk so this seems like the previous owner has botched the wiring somehow. Cant find any way of turning on the front fog lights and I am just tempted to rewire it myself through the existing switch, as it seems a tad redundant when it just does something that the stalk switch does.
Two questions, firstly can anyone shed any light on this weirdness and secondly does anyone know what the six pins on the rear of the front fog light switch do i.e feed etc?
Many thanks
Nick

Mmmm in that case its just a case of working out why the front fogs are not working, bulbs are all fine so will have to do a bit more checking

One of the indicator sockets looked like it had been down on the Mary Rose, cleaned that up and got it working but it got dark before I could check power down to the fog light socket. not sure which one is the fog light fuse as the diagram on the cover is crap. I just tested the bulbs in my other car, both fine. The previous owner has chopped the wires and crimped new H11 sockets on so may just be crap connections, gonna put multimeter on the wiring tomorrow and maybe solder his joins up properly

I think front fogs were a optinal extra fuse might not be in the main box I can't remember without looking at my truck or the diagrams

But the switch is working as u describe it. 2 wires for the illumination 1 in 1 out 1 to the side lights

thanks for your help first job in the morning will be tracking down the front fog light fuse and then getting a meter on the wiring, the whole sidelights issue made me wonder what was going on. it seemed I had two switches that switched side lights on and none that switched the fogs on

well this is all getting weird, after eliminating the bulbs and being unable to find a fuse or relay I decided to stick the multimeter on the wires to the fog light. 12.5 volts supply on both wires yet bulbs will not illuminate from these two wires. Bloody weird
